The Joker

Heath Ledger's tormented Joker was the embodiment of the criminally insane... and looked it.

Tradução:
O Coringa atormentado de Heath Ledger foi a personificação dos criminosos insanos... e olhou isso.

Frankenstein

Frankenstein was the first reanimated movie monster, played by Boris Karloff. Shocking! Most villainous line: "Aaarrraagghh!"

Michael Myers

This "Halloween" maniac murdered his sister when he was six. It only got worse. Most villainous line: There's no talking when there's stabbing to do!

Norman Bates

In "Psycho", Norman Bates, played by Tony Perkins, made taking a shower the scariest thing you could do at the Bates Motel... or at home! Motherrrrrrrrrrr! Most villainous line: "It's sad, when a mother has to speak the words that condemn her own son. But I couldn't allow them to believe that I would commit murder. They'll put him away now, as I should have years ago. He was always bad, and in the end he intended to tell them I killed those girls and that man... as if I could do anything but just sit and stare, like one of his stuffed birds. They know I can't move a finger, and I won't. I'll just sit here and be quiet, just in case they do... suspect me. They're probably watching me. Well, let them. Let them see what kind of a person I am. I'm not even going to swat that fly. I hope they are watching... they'll see. They'll see and they'll know, and they'll say, 'Why, she wouldn't even harm a fly...'"

Carrie

Carrie, played by Sissy Spacek, made the prom a bloody hell of a good time, didn't she? Most villainous line: "It has nothing to do with Satan, Mama. It's me. Me. If I concentrate hard enough, I can move things."

Freddy Krueger

"A Nightmare on Elm Street" made Freddy (played by Robert Englund) a household name. Sleep tight! Most villainous line: "I'm your boyfriend now, Nancy."

Regan

Pea soup was never the same after Linda Blair played Regan MacNeil in "The Exorcist." Her turning head literally turned stomachs! Most villainous line: "What an excellent day for an exorcism."

Jack Torrance

Heeeeeeeeeeeeere's Johnny! Jack Nicholson tormented his family in the terrifying "The Shining," about a haunted, snowbound hotel. Stephen King strikes again. Most villainous line: "Wendy? Darling? Light, of my life. I'm not gonna hurt ya. You didn't let me finish my sentence. I said, I'm not gonna hurt ya. I'm just going to bash your brains in."

Pennywise the Dancing Clown

Tim Curry of "Rocky Horror" fame plays the creepiest clown EVER in another Stephen King scarefest, "It." Coulrophobia, anyone? Most villainous line: "Kill! Me? Oh you are priceless brat! I am eternal, child. I am the eater of worlds, and of children. And you are next!"

Annie Wilkes

Kathy Bates terrified both James Caan and audiences as the creepy Annie Wilkes in "Misery." She got an Oscar, we got the willies. Most villainous line: "I thought you were good Paul... but you're not good. You're just another lying ol' dirty birdy."

Damien

Harvey Stephens was the embodiment of evil as little Damien Thorn, the son of Satan, in "The Omen." Don't mess with him or he'll knock you off the balcony with his wee tricycle. Most villainous line: "Please, Daddy! No, Daddy, no!"

Dr. Hannibal Lecter

Sir Anthony Hopkins won an Oscar for his portrayal of the cannibal Dr. Hannibal Lecter. Even from behind bars, he manages to torture his visitors. Fava beans, anyone? Most villainous line: "I do wish we could chat longer, but... I'm having an old friend for dinner."

Jigsaw Killer

"Saw's" John Kramer, aka the "Jigsaw Killer," sets his victims in unusual situations — and in multiple sequels!

Dracula

He wants to suck your blood! Count Dracula, played by Bela Lugosi, is one of the most famous villains of all time. Make sure you have garlic handy when the sun sets. Most villainous line "Listen to them. Children of the night. What music they make."

Hans Gruber

Alan Rickman in "Die Hard"is a most diabolical two-bit criminal. He's really only in it for the money, all $600 million of it, but he does rather enjoy tormenting his captors. Most villainous line: "When they land we blow up the roof, they spend a month sifting through rubble, and by the time they work out what went wrong, we'll be sitting on a beach, earning 20 percent."

The Wicked Witch of the West

Lord Voldemort

Ralph Fiennes has played a few evil men in his acting career, but it's his "Harry Potter" baddieHe Who Should Not Be Named, the Dark Lord — or as he is affectionately known, ole Snake Face — who stands out as one of the best. Most villainous line: "Astounding what a few drops of your blood will do, eh, Harry?"

Anton Chigurh

Javier Bardem's Oscar-winning performance as the cold-blooded Anton in "No Country for Old Men," whose single-minded determination to follow through on every job to its very end, is bone-chilling. Made even more so when he occasionally gives his victim's a 50-50 chance by the flip of a coin. Most villainous line: "Call it."

Nurse Ratched

In those horrifying visions of a psycho nurse coming at you with a large hypothermic needle, the name that comes to mind is "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest's" Nurse Ratched. Louise Fletcher's portrayal isn't so much maniacal as it is sadistic as she thoroughly gets off on keeping her mental patients right there next to her, crazy as ever. Most villainous line: "You know Billy, what worries me is how your mother is going to take this."

Darth Vader

Lord Darth Vader personifies all that is dark and evil in The Force. When you see how he gets to be the way he is, you have to empathize, just a little — and of course, his salvation at the end is sweet. But honestly, folks, it's hard to forgive all the other mean stuff he did. Most villainous line: "I find your lack of faith disturbing."
